A backup every night, and you restore it yourself

Not a mockup: this is the panel, on a sample account. This is a VPS backups screen. Restoring a website backup is still ours to do: the panel opens the note to Support and we do it the same working day.

A VPS “Backups” screen in the panel: seven automatic backups from consecutive nights, each with its date, its disk size between 15 and 17 GB and a green “Verified” label, and on every row “Browse and download” and “Restore”. The oldest one also carries a “Not deleted” mark.
Seven nights kept off the server, with their date, their size and a “Verified” mark. “Restore” takes the whole machine back to that night; “Browse and download” goes inside the backup for a single file, without touching what is running.

All four are applied the same way across every machine: a self-renewing certificate, backups off the server, automatic IP bans and 24/7 alerting.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about security

How often are backups taken?
Weekly on the Starter plan and daily from Dev up. On VPS you can schedule whatever frequency you want.
How long are they kept?
We keep the most recent copies in rotation. If you need longer retention for compliance, it can be configured separately.
Can I restore things myself?
It depends what. On a VPS, yes: the backups screen has «Restore» and «Browse and download», and you run it yourself. Restoring a website backup is still ours to do: the panel opens the note to Support and we do it the same working day.
